A large language model is an AI system trained on enormous amounts of text to predict, and therefore produce, language. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are all built on LLMs. Given instructions and context, an LLM can draft, summarise, translate, classify, extract data and answer questions — without being programmed for each task individually.
For a business, the model itself is rarely the project: the work is connecting it to your data and processes, safely. That is the difference between a subscription and an AI integration.
